In the 80's, I bought a fibreglass 1/100 Singapore/BA G-BOAD Concorde Model for about $150 US. It was made in the UK. I used to wash it in warm water, as it often got dusty; especially on the wings. One day, I noticed small cracks on the wings. I guess I was supposed to keep it dry. I always rinse my die-cast models and never had problems with cracking. I feel bad I ruined it but I was never told to keep it dry. Did the moisture cause the cracks?
